The Oregon Legislature recently passed SB 765, which was signed into law by the Governor on June 15, 2021. This means that Remote Online Notarization (RON) is now legal in Oregon.  Effective July 26, 2021, Jiffy Mobile Notary now provides RON signings via  eNotary Log, and Nexsys Clearsign. We also provide IPEN and hybrid closings.

Typical loan signing services provided by Jiffy Mobile Notary include settlement services, refinancing, purchase or seller documents, home equity line of credit (HELOCs), loan modifications, reverse mortgages, and REO foreclosures. Valerie Pharr, has over seven years’ experience closing loans for signing and title companies alike with over 2,000  loan closings to date. Valerie is Fidelity approved and holds “White Glove” status with many of her vendors.

Please note that in order to witness signature for notaries and certificates that you need to have a current United States government-issued, non expired photo ID. For signers who are incapacitated please schedule a time when you have witnesses and are fully cognizant. Signers must be aware of what they are signing, and be willing to sign.

In Valerie’s spare time, she is a professional organizer and helps clients tame the paper tiger and get organized for tax season. Besides loan closings, Valerie holds certificates in Residential Organizing, Household Management, Life Transitions, and Workplace Productivity.

Meet the Owners

Valerie and Keith Pharr, Owners of Jiffy Mobile Notary

The owners of Jiffy Mobile Notary, Valerie and Keith moved to Bend to enjoy the lifestyle that all of Central Oregon has to offer. Valerie graduated from Gonzaga University in 2012 after working for architects and engineers for over 20 years. She holds a Masters in Communication and Leadership studies. Her undergraduate work at Portland State University revolved around housing and economic development with an emphasis on real estate development, finance, and GIS.

Valerie worked as a caregiver for seven years while attending college and has a great deal of experience working with the elderly and people with disabilities whereas Keith is a numbers cruncher. Valerie is a member of the National Notary Association (NNA) and former member of the National Association of Productivity and Organization (NAPO).

Keith moved to Bend from Arizona looking for a lifestyle that included mountain biking, camping, hiking, and walking our golden doodle. Keith holds an MBA, is a retired electrical engineer and worked part-time for H&R Block as a seasonal tax preparer. He now volunteers as a tax preparer for AARP. Keith and Valerie are both members of the Trinity Episcopal Church.

Hours of Operation

Jiffy Mobile Notary is open Monday through Sunday from 7 am to 10 pm, by appointment, including holidays. After hours, weekends, and holidays are subject to a higher premium. That’s right! Jiffy Mobile Notary is open every day, unless otherwise posted.
